Fees

As an au pair you will receive full board and lodging with your host family. You will also receive pocket money. That is relatively high when you compare it to the average salary in the Philippines.

Understand that the costs of living are also very high in Europe.

In The Netherlands you will receive 340 euros pocket money per month. That’s the equivalent of P19,000, depending on the rate of the Philippine Peso.

Your host family will also pay for your flight ticket to the Netherlands, health insurance, visa and Residence Permit and course/sport.

You have to pay the cost for obtaining a passport, apostille birth and apostille unmarried certificates, inbound travel cost (airplane, bus, etc.) for obtaining your papers and to do the visa application in Manila and to travel to Manila on the moment that you will travel to the Netherlands.
